Thank you for this post, Zakia. Well, l may not see myself as a real friend, because sometimes our best could be the worst to another person.
But, l can identify, a real friend. I have many friends, l mean good friends. But, this one is so real to me. She is Amanda. She is always by my side, win or lose, but does not always side with me. She tells me the truth in my face even if it hurts – l mean she tells me when l’m wrong right in my face, and this is where l find the reality in her. She never leaves me even if my life becomes a mess. She always tries to point out my flaws to me so she can help me overcome them. She is always willing to help bring the best in me. I think she is an angel.
I can list out many examples. The one thing that stood constant with people who are my true friends is their support and love is always shown regardless of the circumstances.
